Bio, caveats, and promises. For a number of years, I was a successful and awarded copywriter for some big agencies. I loved a lot about it. Working with creative and exciting people. Coming up with unexpected but compelling ideas. The thrill of cracking a tough brief when the sun had set and the cleaner was emptying the trash bin.
But life happened and I needed a break. I got out of the biz for a while. I missed it. And I'm back as a freelance copywriter ready to take on projects of any scope in Toronto or working remotely. I can do it all from film and radio, to outdoor, to print, to digital (down to writing meta descriptions and title tags). Need a quick one-off ad or webpage? I can do that. Need to rebrand and rethink your marketing for the next decade? I can do that too. Bonus skills: I'm a presentation champ. I know some InDesign and have decent visual chops (so I can create social ads or a newsletter all by my lonesome). I can also catch a football in traffic. And write a killer odd-time-signature riff that still flows like the Humber River in June. If we do a working lunch, I'm a pescatarian who goes easy on the gluten — so that may throw you off. But other than that I'm an easygoing guy who doesn't worry about his ego but cares a lot about his integrity. Sound good? Let's talk. |
